July 17th 2008, Singapore…
The public were treated to a sneak preview of potential ChasePoints at Raffles Place today.

Nat Geo Adventure has been confirmed as title sponsor for the Singapore event with highlights being shown on the channel later this year and this will be part of a 4-part series on the international race that will be aired on the channel globally.

The Singapore Disability Sports Council (SDSC) – this year’s chosen charity - joined event organisers Sporting Spectrum to give lunchtime revellers the chance to have a go and sign up for the challenge in the heart of the CBD, Raffles Place.

City Chase Singapore has chosen to support the SDSC to help raise awareness of the obstacles and challenges the disabled face in society today. Sporting Spectrum will raise funds for the organisation by designating a special charity ChasePoint.

Also present to lend their support and to announce their participation in the 2008 event were Amazing Race Asia winners Collin Low and Adrian Yap. These adventure enthusiasts and adrenaline-junkies are out to test their skills against the rest of the teams and to do their best to take the title and win a place in the City Chase World Championships which take place in Morocco in November.

Adrian said, “Collin and I love to travel and push ourselves to the limits so this is perfect for us and it is great that all ages and abilities can also join in and have a fun day. I was especially pleased to hear that SDSC are involved this year and I want to help raise awareness of disabled sport and the difficulties we face in Singapore and elsewhere.”
